Domains / Price comparison

Your domain costs more than its first year.

Registration, renewal and transfer prices sit side by side across 28 extensions and four providers, buying conditions included. Each extension links to its own guide as it is published.

Every amount here is a published USD price. OpusDNS offers apply only to business transfers, exclude VAT and depend on remaining promotional capacity. Check final fees and eligibility with each provider.

Source checks run hourly when this page is visited. Quotes get hidden 24 hours after retrieval, or sooner if the source data or a promotion expires. AI Vikings source data must also be under 48 hours old.

01

Openprovider

Non-member prices

We show the prices Openprovider publishes for non-members. Membership discounts and account-specific quotes are excluded. Check the final fees and account requirements before you order.

02

AI Vikings

Public price list

We use AI Vikings' public USD price list. Its feed supplies registration, renewal and transfer amounts, but says nothing about billing periods or tax treatment. Confirm both before ordering.

03

OpusDNS

Business customers

OpusDNS runs transfer promotions for business customers, VAT excluded. We list those prices in the Transfer column up to their published expiry, subject to remaining promotional capacity. Registration, renewal and other TLD prices are in its dashboard after free signup; they are not listed in full on the public page.

04

Porkbun

Public API prices

Porkbun runs a public USD pricing API covering registration, renewal and transfer. We use the returned prices without account credentials or coupon adjustments. Registration and renewal rates are annual, but .ai has a two-year minimum, so that is the total we show. Check sale conditions and taxes at checkout.

Read the renewal column first

A low registration price can apply only to the first term. If you're keeping the domain, look at the renewal charge and how many years it covers. Premium names and optional extras will move the total.

Why there is no three-year total yet

A useful ownership estimate needs the registration term, renewal term and any required fees from the same provider. We won't pair the cheapest registration from one company with another company's renewal price, and we won't assume an unstated term is one year.
