We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
HOSTLIST.IO is an independent web hosting directory and comparison platform. We aggregate publicly available data about web hosting companies, including pricing information, performance metrics, company details, and user reviews, to help consumers make informed decisions. The Service includes the hosting directory, HostScore™ ratings, comparison tools, deal listings, and related features.

HostScore™ ratings are generated using automated data collection, publicly available performance metrics, and algorithmic analysis. Scores are provided for informational purposes onlyand do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any hosting provider's services.
HOSTLIST.IO makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of HostScore™ ratings. Scores are based on data available at the time of calculation and may not reflect the most current state of a hosting provider's services.
Hosting companies may request a review of their score by contacting us at hello@hostlist.io. We will review all requests in good faith but are under no obligation to change, modify, or remove any score. HostScore™ methodology may be updated at any time without prior notice.
The Service may allow users to submit content including reviews, deals, coupon codes, and other information (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for any User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant HOSTLIST.IO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.
You represent and warrant that your User Content is accurate, does not infringe on any third-party rights, and does not violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove any User Content at our sole discretion without notice.
Hosting companies may claim their listing on HOSTLIST.IO to manage their profile information. By claiming a listing, you represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of the hosting company and agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Misrepresentation of company information may result in the removal of claimed status or the listing itself.
Claiming a listing does not entitle the company to any control over its HostScore™ rating or placement in rankings.
HOSTLIST.IO does not accept payment for rankings and does not use affiliate links in its directory or comparison tools. Our rankings are determined entirely by our algorithmic scoring methodology. Tool and infrastructure partnerships that support the operation of the platform are clearly disclosed and have no influence on scores or rankings.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HOSTLIST.IO and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
HOSTLIST.IO is not liable for any business decisions made based on our ratings, scores, reviews, or any other information provided through the Service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HOSTLIST.IO, its operators, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any rights of another party.
Listed hosting companies agree to indemnify HOSTLIST.IO against any claims arising from inaccuracies in their self-reported data or from disputes with their customers that reference information on the Service.
HOSTLIST.IO respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to hello@hostlist.io containing:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before pursuing formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at hello@hostlist.io. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes within 30 days of receipt.
