I don't know if those comments are just patriotic Europeans or if Hetzner is really that much better than the alternatives. They had a bit of a reputation for unr
Hetzner is very annoying to start. Asks for ID, might reject the id without reason, might reject your order saying they don't trust you even if you offer to pay
When assessing the two solutions, reviewers found InterServer easier to use. However, Hetzner is easier to set up and administer. Reviewers also preferred doing
Hetzner is a more modern cloud provider, while Netcup is a traditional VPS provider. So, they have some pretty big differences.

Hi, we have like 30 servers in Hetzner ASH and none of our outgoing requests are working. All outgoing requests from the servers are failing
I have been with Hetzner over 10 years hosting multiple servers without issue. There has to my knowledge never been a shutdown without notice on bare metal
Just ask the Hetzner support directly. Either over the phone or via Ticket support. They can look at your hosting and see whats wrong. My Guess:

You could consider Hostinger or InMotion Hosting. Both are generally reliable and offer the developer tools you're looking for, often within that price range

Now I know why you don't suggest A2 anymore. -- Now just to be clear you recommend NixiHost, KnownHost or Nexcess right? I liked KnownHost
A2 offers some 36-month deals. Are they decent? Siteground only seems to offer 12 months to start, before higher renewal rates kick in.
A2 Hosting is a distinguished and established brand. Hosting.com sounds corny and backward. That's probably the reason Newfold Digital is pulling the plug on

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Social Noise?
Social Noise is our real-time feed of what people are publicly saying about web hosting companies across X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. We surface genuine user opinions, the good, the bad, and the ugly, so you can see unfiltered feedback before choosing a host.
How do you collect these mentions?
We use automated search tools to monitor social media platforms for posts mentioning hosting companies in our directory. Each mention is classified by sentiment (good, bad, or mixed) and linked back to the original post and the host's profile on Hostlist.
How is sentiment determined?
Each mention is read for its overall meaning, not just for negative or positive keywords, and classified as Good (a positive experience or recommendation, even one that mentions a past problem but concludes satisfied), Bad (a genuine complaint or negative experience), or Mixed/Ugly (a nuanced take with real pros and cons). Posts from a host's own account, and promotional or affiliate copy, are excluded entirely rather than scored.
How often is Social Noise updated?
Social Noise is refreshed daily. We scan for new mentions across all monitored platforms every 24 hours and add them to the feed. The page itself revalidates every 2 minutes to show the latest data.
Can I filter by platform or sentiment?
Yes. Use the filter pills at the top to narrow by platform (X, Instagram, TikTok, Other) or sentiment (Good, Bad, Mixed). Filters can be combined to see, for example, only negative mentions on X.
