No. Hostinger only offers AI chatbot, 24/7 live chat, and email/ticket support. If phone support is important to you, that's a real point in Bluehost's favor. ### Can I migrate from Bluehost to Hostinger (or vice versa)? Despite multiple support chats and follow-ups, my issue remains unresolved. there is often no update, no follow-up, and no accountability.
- I totally get the frustration - I have dealt with "bot-like" support on multiple hosts, and it's honestly the worst. That said, my experience with Hostinger has been mostly the opposite over the last 2+ years. I have contacted them about 8-10 times so far for migrations, billing confusion, and SSL
a bit of planning we one-shot moved my domains and DNS over to Cloudflare and then all the sites to an InMotion Hosting dedicated server over the weekend. - Rating this company with one start is too generous — Run, Don’t Walk, Away from HostPapa This has been, without exaggeration, the most mind-numbingly incompetent support (technical and billing) experience I’ve ever had — with any company, in any industry. All I asked was for two hosting accounts t
HostPapa has a long tail of complaints about auto-renewals, upsell charges, and aggressive billing practices. But these are not unique to them.
I pay about $35/year already for each shared hosting plan and moving to Linode and DigitalOcean seem to be a bit cheaper and I can play with other technologies.
In 2025 I moved some of my servers from Linode to Hetzner. My reasoning for moving away from Linode: Linode does not provide ARM servers.
This migration process implies major architecture change - going from non-dockerized setup to containers, from load-balanced setup to what looks like one
I moved two servers, one from Linode and the other from DO to Hetzner a few months ago, with similar savings. The best part was that the two servers had
DO NOT USE LINODE r/VPS - 0 upvotes, 15 comments My experience with Linode at withfriends.co today. - They performed an emergency maintenance action without notification to us - They did not backup our server before performing this action, so our only snapshot is the one we set up and a couple days

I made the HORRIBLE mistake of using vps.net for over a year (from September 09 to September 10) and it was honestly the worst hosting experience of my life (and I keep an eye on them, still as bad as ever) so when I switched to Linode I was expecting more of the same, in over 8 months I have never

- significantly cheaper then vultr, OVH or Digital Ocean for more cpu cores, bandwidth and RAM. Vultr decided to stop offering low cost options and kept raising prices, so we left. It also lined up with Plesk doing the same so we changed to coolify - price and options (arm mainly) now i feel like DO,

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Social Noise?
Social Noise is our real-time feed of what people are publicly saying about web hosting companies across X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. We surface genuine user opinions, the good, the bad, and the ugly, so you can see unfiltered feedback before choosing a host.
How do you collect these mentions?
We use automated search tools to monitor social media platforms for posts mentioning hosting companies in our directory. Each mention is classified by sentiment (good, bad, or mixed) and linked back to the original post and the host's profile on Hostlist.
How is sentiment determined?
Each mention is read for its overall meaning, not just for negative or positive keywords, and classified as Good (a positive experience or recommendation, even one that mentions a past problem but concludes satisfied), Bad (a genuine complaint or negative experience), or Mixed/Ugly (a nuanced take with real pros and cons). Posts from a host's own account, and promotional or affiliate copy, are excluded entirely rather than scored.
How often is Social Noise updated?
Social Noise is refreshed daily. We scan for new mentions across all monitored platforms every 24 hours and add them to the feed. The page itself revalidates every 2 minutes to show the latest data.
Can I filter by platform or sentiment?
Yes. Use the filter pills at the top to narrow by platform (X, Instagram, TikTok, Other) or sentiment (Good, Bad, Mixed). Filters can be combined to see, for example, only negative mentions on X.
