I have been using Ionos for more than 20 years. The best hosting service I used. They are always helpful. Useful.
They're amazing. I still can't believe how much value they offer. They're super cost effective while offering probably one the best networks out there.
I have a few apps, but they make no money at least for now. Moving to Cloudflare would reduce my hosting fees since is pay as you go model.
# I thought Cloudflare wasn’t a host, but so many websites show as hosted by it. I’m new to all of this so you’re probably rolling your eyes. But I’m trying to figure out a host to set up a new Wordpress.org site. And I’ve been doing research and know to avoid bluehost and EIG sites. I decided to lo
I love the Cloudflare for dns and CDN services, but would never use them for a domain registrar. At least not for any domain that I care about.

I've also read that you lose a mess of functions that a2 used to provide on shared vps to optimize websites because hosting.com killed them off.

We've had on-going issues with A2 hosting. Was time for renewal, so we "upgraded" to a 8 core managed VPS instead of 6. The migration has been so badly handled.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Social Noise?
Social Noise is our real-time feed of what people are publicly saying about web hosting companies across X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. We surface genuine user opinions, the good, the bad, and the ugly, so you can see unfiltered feedback before choosing a host.
How do you collect these mentions?
We use automated search tools to monitor social media platforms for posts mentioning hosting companies in our directory. Each mention is classified by sentiment (good, bad, or mixed) and linked back to the original post and the host's profile on Hostlist.
How is sentiment determined?
Each mention is read for its overall meaning, not just for negative or positive keywords, and classified as Good (a positive experience or recommendation, even one that mentions a past problem but concludes satisfied), Bad (a genuine complaint or negative experience), or Mixed/Ugly (a nuanced take with real pros and cons). Posts from a host's own account, and promotional or affiliate copy, are excluded entirely rather than scored.
How often is Social Noise updated?
Social Noise is refreshed daily. We scan for new mentions across all monitored platforms every 24 hours and add them to the feed. The page itself revalidates every 2 minutes to show the latest data.
Can I filter by platform or sentiment?
Yes. Use the filter pills at the top to narrow by platform (X, Instagram, TikTok, Other) or sentiment (Good, Bad, Mixed). Filters can be combined to see, for example, only negative mentions on X.
