They're slow, their customer service stinks, the servers are crowded (and getting more so each day). I switched to A Small Orange, and they
Hi everyone. Need a little suggestion here and maybe your expertise. I have 3 woocommerce websites I currently run on Bluehost.
After 29 years, I had to leave Webcom/Bluehost because they jacked up my rate from around $250 for two years (hosting multiple websites) to $600+ for one year.
I moved from Bluehost to Cynderhost's $4.99 plan a few months ago. Could not be happier. Faster, cheaper (I was on Bluehost's Pro plan)
I am considering Moving away from Bluehost to save money but have a few questions. (I'm not super tech savvy on the back-end of stuff like this
I started using Bluehost 8-10 years ago and it was fine back then but now it's starting to get annoying, they recently updated their system and now it sucks.
I switched from Bluehost to Skystra after BH deleted 3 of my sites, said they didn't have backups, and couldn't restore them. Skystra took my
Has anyone used ScalaHosting? I am considering moving from SiteGround to them because my renewal is coming up. Are they better than SiteGround as far as speed, support, and stability? I am looking at the Advanced or Entry Cloud options. My SiteGround plan is GrowBig, so those are equal or better op…

Downtime is frequent. A couple of times a month, at least ... I signed up for Chemicloud hosting and requested to migrate my original site to Chemicloud.
I was with GD for nearly 25 years and have moved MANY clients over to ChemiCloud and finally took the leap myself. Great price, great support, friendly
Two weeks ago, I transferred from Hostgator to ChemiCloud. All of the problems I had with Ulysses have vanished. As others have said, the
The support engineers at ChemiCloud are ALL extremely help, knowledgeable, prompt to reply , diagnose & fix - 24/7 through live chats, and when it's time for either side of an issue to get some sleep... I purchased hosting from Chemicloud recently and needed website migration, help with email, SMTP

They are absolutely terrible. Not only do they not EVER answer their chat (always a "help-requests-are-high-now" message, telling you to open a ticket via
I personally had no problem with the support team - they were patient and tried to help - but the system itself is frustrating and unintuitive.
Their support is excellent. Their docs are excellent. Personally I use QUIC or Cloudflare for NS management. Nothing wrong with Namecheap, just
I have been trying out Linode for just 2 days and I find both the user interface and the documentation is excellent. I would say $12 per month
Linode is stable and reliable, if antiquated, but they don't have your back when there are problems. Akamai has made it more bureaucratic and worse.
# Linode Reviews 204. ## All reviews. Indeed, I came here peeved about a recent cryptic email form Linode about upcoming changes to DNS resolvers but after reading all the negative reviews (and checking out who those negative reviewers recommend) I'm thinking that Linode is still the common sense so

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Social Noise?
Social Noise is our real-time feed of what people are publicly saying about web hosting companies across X (Twitter), Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. We surface genuine user opinions, the good, the bad, and the ugly, so you can see unfiltered feedback before choosing a host.
How do you collect these mentions?
We use automated search tools to monitor social media platforms for posts mentioning hosting companies in our directory. Each mention is classified by sentiment (good, bad, or mixed) and linked back to the original post and the host's profile on Hostlist.
How is sentiment determined?
Each mention is read for its overall meaning, not just for negative or positive keywords, and classified as Good (a positive experience or recommendation, even one that mentions a past problem but concludes satisfied), Bad (a genuine complaint or negative experience), or Mixed/Ugly (a nuanced take with real pros and cons). Posts from a host's own account, and promotional or affiliate copy, are excluded entirely rather than scored.
How often is Social Noise updated?
Social Noise is refreshed daily. We scan for new mentions across all monitored platforms every 24 hours and add them to the feed. The page itself revalidates every 2 minutes to show the latest data.
Can I filter by platform or sentiment?
Yes. Use the filter pills at the top to narrow by platform (X, Instagram, TikTok, Other) or sentiment (Good, Bad, Mixed). Filters can be combined to see, for example, only negative mentions on X.
