Frequently asked questions
Why did only one tab open?
Browsers block scripts that open several windows from a single click, and by default only the first gets through. Allow pop-ups for this site and the rest will open: in Chrome and Edge a blocked-pop-up icon appears at the right of the address bar, and in Safari the setting is under Websites, then Pop-up Windows. The tool opens tabs directly from your click, which is what makes an allow rule sufficient.
Is there a limit on how many links I can open?
The tool does not impose one, but your machine does. Every tab is a full page load, so a few dozen at once will use a lot of memory and can slow the browser to a crawl. Opening in batches of ten to twenty is far more comfortable, and the tool shows the count before you commit.
Are my links sent anywhere?
No. Parsing and opening both happen in your browser with JavaScript, and the list is never transmitted to a server, logged or stored. You can confirm this by opening the browser network tab: clicking the button produces no outbound request.
