HOW IT WORKS

Unlike a cloud-only WAF, GateKeeper can run inside the hosting provider infrastructure. That gives the operator control over traffic, policy, branding, and customer packaging while the Blackwall dashboard handles central management. Integrations cover common hosting panels and billing systems, with APIs available for proprietary platforms.

Blackwall is strongest against automated application-layer traffic: malicious bots, scrapers, credential stuffing, brute force, CMS exploit attempts, and Layer 7 denial-of-service attacks. It is not a malware scanner and it does not replace upstream protection against large network-layer volumetric attacks, so hosts may pair it with Monarx or Imunify360 for malware and a network DDoS provider for Layers 3 and 4.

Category context: Runs on the host server itself; protects every site at the network and request layer before the request reaches the application. Used by shared hosting providers.
