Web design that earns its keep.
HostList is the independent hosting directory that tracks 28,029 providers across 60+ countries with zero paid placements. The same operators also ship sites through Seahawk Media: twelve years in production, five thousand sites delivered, three service pillars. Headless when Core Web Vitals need a decoupled Next.js or Astro front-end. WordPress for the full lifecycle: migrate, build, maintain, redesign. SEO for technical indexation, schema markup, and AEO/GEO architecture so Google and answer engines cite you accurately. Every project lands portable, fast, and AI-citable.
Three pillars, done properly.
WordPress as the content API with a Next.js or Astro front-end. ISR or SSG for tight Core Web Vitals while editors keep the admin they know.

How Is the Web design and hosting recommendations on HostList Selected?
The web design and hosting recommendations on HostList is selected entirely by HRI, an independent algorithmic 0 to 100 rating that combines four equally-weighted components: customer trust signals from real reviews (25%), public profile completeness (25%), data freshness (25%), and infrastructure performance signals (25%). Brand awareness, marketing spend, and affiliate relationships are not inputs.
Hosting companies cannot pay to appear or improve their position. Sponsorships and advertising are not scoring inputs. The same rules apply to every company in the directory of over 30,000 providers, from the largest hyperscalers to single-region indie hosts.
For the full breakdown of each scoring component and how it is calculated, see the HRI methodology page.
Directory data, HRI scores, prices, and features are informational and may lag real-world changes. Always confirm current details with the provider before you buy. HostList does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purchasing decision. Ratings disclaimer · Terms.
1,000+ partners use Seahawk as white-label WordPress bench strength.
We build sites the way infrastructure people build sites.
Most web agencies do not care which hosting plan you end up on. We do, because we audit hosting plans for a living. Every project we ship lands on a plan that matches its traffic, uses the right cache layer, and renews at a price you can predict.
Twelve years of running WordPress at scale, not three years of running Figma. We have repaired the kinds of incidents you have not had yet.
We rank 30,000+ hosts. When we recommend a plan inside a project, the recommendation is on-record and based on the same algorithm published on hostlist.io.
Every site we ship is portable. WordPress core, standard plugins, plain custom code where possible. You can fire us at any time and the site moves cleanly.
No discovery phases that turn into invoices. The first call ends with a scope and a fixed number. Most builds ship inside a calendar quarter.
Core Web Vitals targets are part of the scope, not a paid add-on. Sites we ship pass LCP, INP, and CLS thresholds on launch or we keep working until they do.
Schema, speakable selectors, and llms.txt are part of SEO scope. Answer engines cite sites that structure content for extraction, not sites that hide it behind accordions.
Common questions, answered briefly.
Who is behind these services?
Seahawk Media, an agency with 12+ years in WordPress and 5,000+ sites shipped, in partnership with the HostList team. The same operators who write the HRI methodology and rank 30,000+ hosting companies for accuracy. No subcontractors hidden behind a brand layer.
What are the three service pillars?
Headless for decoupled Next.js or Astro front-ends with WordPress as the CMS API. WordPress for migration, maintenance, development, redesign, and agency white-label. SEO for technical SEO, schema markup, AEO/GEO setup, Core Web Vitals, and Search Console recovery.
How is this different from a typical web design agency?
We are operators first. Every project includes hosting selection guidance because we know the actual data on 30,000+ hosts. Every site we build is configured for Core Web Vitals, ships with the right cache layer for its traffic shape, and lands with a renewal-proof setup so you do not get trapped in a 200 percent year-two pricing trap.
Do you take affiliate commissions from hosts you recommend?
No. HostList accepts zero affiliate revenue on hosting recommendations, and Seahawk inherits the same policy on any host recommended inside a project. When we tell you which host to use, the data drove the decision, not a commission rate.
How fast can you start?
Most migration projects start within five business days of the quote being accepted. Maintenance plans onboard inside 48 hours, sooner if a site is in incident. Custom development depends on scope and existing backlog, usually one to three weeks to start, one to twelve weeks to ship depending on the build.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. Seahawk has powered the back office for 1,000+ agencies under white-label. If you are an agency reading this, the same migration, maintenance, and development work is available white-labelled on your domain at your pricing.
Tell us what you want to build.
Send a short brief. We reply with a scope and a fixed quote inside 1 business day. No discovery calls until there is something concrete to talk about.
